Bunk House

The Bunk House at River Road Ranch Resort offers everything for you, your friends, and your family in upscale, unique accommodations in an Old West frontier town. From the moment you pull onto the white rock road of the ranch, you enter another world; a setting reminiscent of days gone by. The Bunk House is a perfect romantic getaway location for two, but it also offers a spacious, comfortable setting with enough room for 12 which would be perfect for family reunions, retreats with friends, or girls' shopping weekends.

The Bunk House features two large bedrooms, each with a comfy queen-size bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa. The themed bedrooms, one cowboy and the other Indian, display memorabilia dated back to the decades of the Old West. Fireplaces in both bedrooms provide a romantic setting as well as warmth in the wintertime. Each also has a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub for two, a relaxing way to end your day.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, coffee pot, and toaster for those who want to relax and eat in the comfort of home. A Continental breakfast, including pastries, cereal, and fruit, is provided. The refrigerator is also stocked with condiments, juice, milk, water bottles, and our own farm fresh eggs. The large, inviting living room has two more sofa sleepers and HDTV with local and Dish channels, a VCR/DVD player, and a CD stereo system.

The covered front porch overlooks the Fredericksburg countryside and the Pedernales River. It provides a perfect setting for drinking coffee as you watch the sunrise or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for campfires, cooking, or making s'mores. A "cowboy nightlight" illuminates the area after dark and allows you to enjoy the outdoors long after the sun has set.

Rates for the Bunk House are $175 per night for double occupancy with a two night minimum on weekends; $50 per night for 1-2 persons in the second bedroom; $30 per night for each additional person; $30 per night for each pet.
